For the first time since 1963, Pantone has selected two colours to share the prestigious title of Colour of the Year: Rose Quartz and Serenity (a pale denim blue).
“Joined together, Rose Quartz and Serenity demonstrate an inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace.” – Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director at Pantone.
These two colors harmonize perfectly, neither one overshadowing over the other. The pink is warm and comforting, creating a sublime balance with the cooler, soothing blue. This colour trend has had a direct impact on other areas of design, such as the fluid look of modern kitchens.
These two colours, which until now have been used to differentiate boys and girls, will live in harmony in 2016, challenging traditional perceptions of colour codes.
The talent and creativity of our kitchen designers, as well as their desire to satisfy customers, go well beyond experience and expertise.
